Improvements in Garment Hooks and Eyes.

GB

On September 12, 1905, Lois Fidelia Gosnell, a dressmaker of Blue Hill, Nebraska, invented an improved garment hook and eye that could be sewn on securely without showing stitches. Her design used wire loops that held the thread firmly in place, keeping the fastener neat on the garment.
