Bio

I am an ESRC-funded Ph.D. student in Economics at the University of St Andrews. My research is cross-institutionally supervised by Prof. Andy Zapechelnyuk (The University of Edinburgh), Prof. David A. Jaeger (University of St Andrews), and Dr. Min Zhang (University of St Andrews).

In my work, I combine quasi-experimental methods with natural language processing to examine how creativity and invention can be made more equitable and sustainable. Beyond discussing research, this page highlights inventions of women patentees from 1850 to 1950 and their contributions to technological development.

Prior to starting the PhD, I worked as a market analyst and economic researcher.
