Improvements in Attaching Roller Blinds to the Roller.

On May 16, 1896, Gwladys Muriel Davies of Cardiff, Wales, patented a novel method for attaching roller blinds. Her design used a grooved roller and a removable metal bar secured by small turning buttons, allowing blinds to be fastened or removed easily without nails.
