Improvements in the Manufacture of a Clarifying Agent for Wine, Vinegar and Similar Liquids.

On February 4, 1909, Georgina Heddon patented a holder for stemmed glasses, using clips to secure the bowl and stem. Her design prevented spills and made glasses easier to hold, while its shape and material could be adapted for practical use and decorative effect.
