Elastischer Cravatten-Verschluss.

On November 26, 1900, Franziska Neuwirth of Vienna patented an elastic tie fastener that concealed its elastic mechanism within fabric sleeves matching the tie. This allowed the tie to stretch and fasten securely while keeping a neat, uniform look.
